HANDWRITING TREATMENT / SUPPORT (NDIS)

Service Description:

***PLEASE NOTE*** to book a Handwriting Treatment / Support Session, you must first complete the HANDWRITING ASSESSMENT appointment (to identify your child's current handwriting issues and appropriate treatment). TREATMENT/SUPPORT APPOINTMENT: (a) Discussion regarding outcome of Handwriting Assessment Report. (b) Therapist forwards formal HANDWRITING PROGRAM to parent (via email). (c) Therapist orients parent/child to handwriting program and customises a daily practice schedule. (d) Therapist provides practical instruction to normalise pencil grip / pressure / wrist & hand posture. (e) General discussion (Q&A). (f) Therapists recommends timeframe for next support session. COST BREAKDOWN : Hourly Rate: 20% DISCOUNT = $154. (a) Treatment Appointment (1 hour = $154). (b) Formal Handwriting Program Manual = $20. TOTAL COST: $154 + $20 = $174 (NDIS FUNDED). NDIS PLAN MANAGED : Invoice for service is forwarded to your NDIS Plan Manager. NDIS AGENCY MANAGED : Therapist enters services into the NDIS online portal. NDIS SELF-MANAGED: Therapist provides payment details at appointment. Or you can provide credit card details to pay over the phone at the start of the appointment. Therapist provides you with a fully paid invoice within 24 hours of payment (for you to submit to the NDIS for reimbursement).
